Introducing GuestHouse Hotels who have only recently joined us. If you’re a Platinum diner then you may have already had the pleasure of a visit at one of these stunning hotels. They describe themselves as: “Home to relaxing suites and bedrooms, heavenly spas, and never-tried-that-before dishes, our hotels have a few things in common, but always guarantee their own unique charm varied by the cities they're a part of.”
It all began at No. 15 in HGEM’s home city of Bath, where three brothers opened their first GuestHouse in a gorgeous Georgian townhouse. The hotel hosts 36 bedrooms and a coach house, complete with restaurant, for both residents and locals.
Second to join the club was No. 1, situated in the beautiful Northern city of York, in a Grade II Listed Regency townhouse, complete with high ceilings and a front door draped in ivy. Lucky guests get to stay in one of 39 bedrooms – including 3 standout suites – and indulge at their spa which has been restored in the cellar, offering bespoke wellbeing treatments.
Hotels three and four are set to open in Spring 2023, with a re-design currently underway at Victorian hotel, No. 42, in Margate which will offer 21 bedrooms, a restaurant, rooftop, and spa - guests will be spoilt with a beachfront setting in this quirky seaside town. A hotel in Brighton is also in the works, hosting part of a Grade II Listed Georgian building that used to be townhouses. The beautiful regency style building will reflect the city’s huge personality through its architecture, art and design.
Each hotel is (or will be) child and dog friendly, with nannies and dog walkers on hand to help you relax during your stay. There's even a record library, with a record player in each room so you can play your favourite tunes whilst relaxing in the bath or getting ready for a night on the town. Peckish for a midnight snack? Raid the pantry full of goodies, from healthy snacks to home-made treats. GuestHouse Hotels really have thought of all the little details, and they’ve even produced their own directory of favourite finds in each city, to help guests plan their stay - check it out here.
When it comes to dining, whether it’s a quick bite or a 3 course meal, each dish is crafted with sustainable, local ingredients (where possible) and you can’t miss the opportunity to try one of their signature cocktails or indulge in an afternoon tea – you’ll be dining in a beautiful building full of history, after all.
With your help, we are proud to support GuestHouse Hotels with their guest experience. We currently have visits available for Platinum diners in Bath and York for breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and overnight stays.
