The first Pizza Union opened back in 2013. It prides itself on being a location where people can get good Italian pizza in swift time and for great prices. But it’s main selling point is that it’s not just a regular pizza place – it’s London’s one and only Pizza Bar!
While most restaurants operate in the expected manner – having its rushes at lunch and dinner time before winding down for the day – Pizza Union aims to be like “your favourite coffee bar”, staying open from 11am – 11pm. Their premise is that you shouldn’t have to wait for the “right” time for pizza – they’re making any time of the day pizza time. This isn’t the only thing that gives them that bar feeling, though. Our mystery assessors often compliment the vibe of the place, which is usually buzzing with people and chatter. The staff are often casual but friendly, and the whole thing together makes you feel as if you’re in the presence of old friends. The menu is filled with pizza favourites (some with a twist!), and there are salad and sweet options, too. Coupled with the unrivalled prices and speedy service, it’s definitely somewhere you’d want to check out!
